Entry Requirements

Applicants need to provide:

  • HS grades
  • Scholarship application (see download below) detailing relocations and record of participation in club/sports and other achievements
  • A video or an essay with an answer to this question: “Describe the relocations that your family has experienced during your life, how it provided challenges for you, how you overcame those challenges, and how the relocations may have enriched your life.”

Scholarship Theme

mLINQS sole focus is helping organizations to process relocations for their employees and their families. This scholarship is a way to recognize the sacrifices that relocation creates for the families and how children in the family can overcome these challenges and turn it into a positive element of their lives.

When is the deadline?

Noon, April 24, 2020

What is required to apply?
By the deadline, fill out application including video or essay, and have your school send your latest transcript to the address on the application.
Who may qualify to win?
Any high school senior in Fairfax County, Virginia who has relocated more than once since January 1, 2006. Relocation must have been at least 50 miles.
When will the award be announced?

Award will be announced by May 8, 2020.

When will the award payment be made?

Payment will be made direct to college on behalf of the winner in August, 2020.
