Senior Full Stack Software Developer

Job Description – Senior Full Stack Software Developer (Remote – Washington, DC Area)

mLINQS is seeking to hire a talented and experienced Software Engineer (i.e., Software Developer) who will join our team in support of the development and delivery of our leading government software and SaaS solution.


  • Design, development, modification, and implementation of computer applications using industry standard technology platforms.
  • Analyze customer user needs and desired results and develop software solutions with responsibility for the delivery of software applications and application interfaces, with minimal supervision.
  • Develop and integrate complex applications using industry standard tools. Experience with Microsoft development platform is a plus.
  • Write, design, code, test, implement, and debug programs adhering to corporate requirements and standards.
  • Perform application testing and validation, programming, and documentation.
  • Document design decisions and develop software components, adhering to existing process guidelines.
  • Coordinate software installation and monitor implementation process. Monitor system performance trends and identify potential issues.
  • Serve as an expert and knowledge source for the escalation of complex application design and development issues.
  • Present complex IT concepts and project metrics to both technical and non-technical audiences.
  • Identify opportunities for improvement.

Basic Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s Degree from an accredited university
  • Minimum 8 years of experience with the design, development, and maintenance of both new and existing code, ranging from client-side development using AngularJS/JavaScript, HTML, and CSS, to server-side code using C#/VB.NET and ASP.NET MVC, Web API, Entity Framework and ADO.NET for data persistence and retrieval, as well as SQL Server stored procedures and triggers.
  • Highly motivated and quick learner with proven software development experience

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience with the development of financial system development and integration
  • Experience with single-sign-on (SSO) technologies and integration
  • Experience with Microsoft Azure, VSTS
  • Experience with government accounting systems

Senior Software Quality Assurance Engineer

Job Description – Senior Software Quality Assurance Engineer (Remote/Northern VA)

mLINQS is seeking to hire a talented Senior Software Quality Assurance Engineer who will join our team in support of the development, delivery, and maintenance of our leading government software and SaaS solutions. The right person will be a multi-dimensional, talented professional capable of providing superior customer service, performing software quality assurance testing, and providing software technical support to existing customers. Secondary responsibilities will be to perform technical writing for developing and managing product documentation, as well as triage and research to support Help Desk activities. This person will also manage configurations and deployments in conjunction with the Director of IT and the Director of Product Development. The person must be able to work comfortably in a remote environment and collaborate with a team of dynamic professionals with a customer-first attitude.

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Lead all Quality Assurance (QA) testing activities for various product releases; perform unit, regression, integration, and beta testing
  • Develop and manage testing plans, processes, and cases based on functional and system specifications
  • Prepare and revise test plans and analyze integration system impacts with new releases
  • Extensive involvement in executing, analyzing, and verifying test results. Ability to work collegially with developers to resolve issues is vital
  • Provide first-level technical support for customer issues via phone calls, email, and ticketing system, and resolve any issues in a timely manner
  • Troubleshoot and research customer-reported issues, test and document solutions, and escalate issues when necessary
  • Build and maintain strong client relationships
  • Participate in high level design sessions with development and product management team.
  • Technical writing in support of system user guides, releases, and internal documentation
  • Lead internal change management, with regard to software builds and environmental configuration. This includes creating builds, managing database versions, and creating and maintaining processes for these activities
  • Manage release deployments to QA, UAT, Training, Demonstration, and Production environments

Mandatory Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s Degree
  • At least 6 years of proven experience in software quality assurance testing
  • At least 2 years of experience with Azure DevOps environment or equivalent technology
  • US citizenship and capability to pass government background investigation

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Supervisory experience in a software quality assurance organization
  • Strong debugging and problem-solving skills
  • Experience building and maintaining software test automation
  • Strong SQL skills
  • Additional experience in technical writing, and/or software technical support role
  • Have excellent analytical and communication skills with the ability to communicate (oral, written, and active listening) to all levels of the business
  • Be self-motivated with the ability to work in a remote environment with minimal supervision
  • Experience with Federal Travel Regulations or government accounting systems
  • Experience with Microsoft SQL Server, Database design/Stored Procedures/Views/etc., ASP.NET MVC, ASP.NET Web API, JSON, Azure
