Jul 29, 2004News

FAIRFAX, VA – (July 29, 2004) – mLINQS™, LLC today announced that the first public demonstration of the company’s new reloLINQ™ product for managing expenses related to government relocation was conducted at the National Travel Forum in Dallas, June 29, and received positive reviews from the attendees representing 12 federal agencies.

The demonstration was held just one week after the General Services Administration (GSA) announced the formation of a new committee to review, among other topics, automating relocation expense management for federal employees. Subsequently, Tim Burke, GSA travel policy director was quoted as having said, “We’re very glad vendors are creating product on their own without the government asking.” Two agencies have already purchased licenses to use the mLINQS application.

In related news, Christina Ewing and John W. Potocko have accepted positions with the company as senior consultants for the government eTravel initiative. Ms. Ewing previously served as the executive director of strategy and integrations for Computer Science Corporation, and has also worked as the director of corporate development with DynCorp in Reston, Virginia.

John Potocko brings more that 20 years experience in enterprise solutions to mLINQS. Before accepting his new position, Mr. Potocko was the director of channel sales for Asera, Inc., and has almost 10 years as a manager and consultant with GE Information Services.
