Nov 17, 2003News

FAIRFAX, VA – (November 17, 2003) – mLINQS, LLC was officially launched today by founder Gregory W. McIntyre. mLINQS will complement and assist government agencies with the implementation of the comprehensive eTravel Service (eTS) spearheaded by the General Services Administration (GSA). eTravel is one of the current Administration’s primary e-Government initiatives.

McIntyre, a resident of Fairfax County, has 15 years experience in the federal marketplace. This includes the previous eight years with Gelco Information Network as a senior manager and vice president for implementation of the award-winning “Travel Manager” system, the precursor to the eTS program.

“eTS is easily the most advanced and comprehensive travel and expense management service available,” said McIntyre. “Initially, what we’ve accomplished is the formation of a company with people that can, without doubt, help civilian agencies to implement a world-class system with which even the ‘best-of-breed’ in the private sector can’t compare. GSA has set a new
standard, a benchmark, and mLINQS is one of a very few companies dedicated to ensuring not only government travelers, but all of us as taxpayers, will reap the rewards of this system.”

mLINQS supplies consulting services for implementation of the eTS initiative, while concurrently developing applications that are designed to streamline the unique needs of federal agencies in travel and expense management.

Greg McIntyre is a graduate of the United States Military Academy with a Bachelor of Science degree in Engineering Management. His military career includes service as a U.S. Army Ranger. Subsequently, Greg earned a Master of Science Degree in Operations Research from the George Washington University. Further information is available at www.mLINQS.net.
