mLINQS GSA Schedule Announcement

Feb 4, 2004News

FAIRFAX, VA – (February 4, 2004) – mLINQS, LLC today announced that the General Services Administration (GSA) has awarded the company a government-wide Travel Services Solutions (TSS) contract. This contract will enable mLINQS to further expand its support of the federal eTravel Service (eTS) initiative for adoption by civilian agencies.

“Our GSA TSS Schedule gives us an effective way to reach federal agencies and support their eTravel implementations,” said Greg McIntyre, mLINQS President. “We’ve already developed a strategic business relationship with Perot Systems Government Services, Inc. (PSGS), and have executed numerous agreements to support PSGS’s efforts on behalf of the GSA eTravel PMO (Program Management Office) and the Department of Commerce. These agreements have put our company far ahead of its initial projections, and positioned us to help civilian agencies minimize the challenges to successfully deploying eTS in a timely, cost-effective manner.”

According to GSA, TSS is a multiple award GSA Schedule that “provides federal agencies with one-stop shopping for all travel management needs.” During the upcoming rollout of eTS, TSS vendors will perform services that will facilitate a smoother implementation of the initiative. TSS will be a catalyst to accelerate adoption of the initiative, thereby providing taxpayers with an enhanced return-on-investment from eTS. The services will enable eTS to reach its objective – to become a world-class travel management service for all federal travelers.

In addition to its consulting services, mLINQS develops value added software applications to close the loop on total travel management for the federal government. Further information is available on the company web site at www.mLINQS.net.
